Abstract submission guidelines
You will need to provide a presentation title, abstract (maximum 250 words), and all authors’ names and affiliations (institutes or organisations). If you wish to include a Figure or Table in addition to the text of your abstract please attach this as a supporting document. Acceptable formats are JPEG or PNG images. Please indicate clearly where you wish the figure to appear in the abstract text – e.g. ‘insert figure 1 here’. Please ensure the titles of the figures match those in the body of the abstract.
We welcome abstracts from all areas of nutraceutical and natural product pharmaceutical research. However, in order to arrange the final programme it will help us if you could let us know if your abstract aligns with any of these topics. When you reach “Click here to make a new abstract submission” you will be asked to select this from the subject category. Alternatively please select “Other” and specify what subject area this relates to.
All abstracts will be subjected to peer review by members of the Scientific Advisory Boards Confirmation will be required that at least one of the authors will attend the conference to present the data. If at least one author does not register for the conference by 28th July 2017 the abstract will not be included in the abstract book.
A small number of bursaries are available towards registration fees to support PhD students and early career researchers presenting at the meeting. If you wish to be considered for a bursary please indicate this is the abstract submission process and upload a letter of support from your supervisor confirming your eligibility as either a student or an early career researcher (up to 5 years post-doctoral experience). The outcome of bursary applications will be at the same time as the abstract submissions.
Elsevier are generously sponsoring prizes for the best oral and poster communications in the field of “Pharmanutrition” presented by either a PhD student or an early career researcher.
The British Pharmacological Society are similarly providing generous support for prizes for the best oral and poster communications by early career researchers and PhD students in the field of natural product pharmacology.
If your abstract falls into either of these general areas and you wish to be considered for a prize please indicate this in the abstract submission process and upload a letter of support from your supervisor confirming your eligibility as either a student or an early career researcher (up to 5 years post-doctoral experience). Prizes will be announced at the conclusion of the conference.
